Sleep deeper and slow down Parkinson.

The deeper the sleep, the slower the Parkinson's disease

Parkinson's disease already affects around 20,000 people in Switzerland and constitutes the fastest growing neurological disorder.
Recent studies strongly suggest that deeper sleep could slow down Parkinson's disease. The Swiss Brain Foundation support a collaborative project of ETH Zurich and the University Hospital Zurich, which aims at delaying the onset of the disease or slowing it down by deepening sleep in Parkinson patients with a new technology, without medication.
